Chapter 62: The Inevitable Event

I shook my head with a sad look on my face as Asher left the room. I let out an exasperated sigh and pressed the pillow with a solemn look on my face. I felt sad and heartbroken that Jessica was going to become the Luna of the pack instead of me.

I pulled off my nightgown and dropped it on the floor. I walked into the bathroom and had my bath.

I walked out of the bathroom and changed into a white short gown. I smiled sadly as I stared at my beautiful reflection in the mirror. I could have looked more beautiful and cheerful if I was the one who was going to become the Luna of the pack.

Even though I was not in support of the celebration, I decided to attend the event.

I was brought out of my thoughts as a knock landed at the door. The door flung open with a loud bang.

My gaze darkened upon seeing Jessica in my chamber. She was with her personal maid, Lilian, who stood beside her.
