Chapter 23

The alpha had requested for Amelia to be given a room in his mansion. He had seen how she had been beaten and decided she was not to be taken back to her mate's home. He was far too rough with her.

"I will stand guard, Incase anyone wants to touch her in her sleep" Alex grabbed a stool beside the wardrobe and dropped it by her side. He dragged up his pants and sat on it.

"There is no need for that. The guards here are very capable and they will surely bring no harm to her. You can come with us" Alpha David said by the door frame. He was standing outside with his wife.

Alex looked back at them, "Alpha Alex, if I may. I see how happy and excited you are. You laugh and smile so warmly because your mate is with you. I want that too"

He looked back at Amelia's face. "I want to have my mate look at me that way and smile. Please, allow me that chance"

He caressed her face.

Alpha David's Luna pulled him to her side.

"He needs some privacy with her, let them be." She whispered into his ears.
