While I spoke to Indigo, Martha, Gail and Victoria about the safety of my children and how I wanted them to be better than I left them when I would be back, I also thought about the safety of the pack.

It was very important that someone of high status and importance would take over the pack.

But my worries were put to rest when indigo told me the alpha had chosen her as his co-leader so she was the temporary alpha of the pack.

“Are you sure the pack members would see that as a good thing?” Victoria asked while looking out of the window with Gail helping me pack and the witches leaning lazily in their chairs. “Wolves can be quite stubborn, you know.”

“Oh I’m counting on it,” the witch leader laughed. “You didn’t expect me to leave them on their own, did you? This pack going forward means that the entire coven would also go forward. You don’t want anyone to get into this pack and see a weak leader, do you?”
