We reached the gates with the witch guards blocking the gate, but Martha wasn’t having it.

With a wave of her hand, she blasted everyone backwards with her powers.

They got up and tried to attack but I saw their stances shaking with their arms too weak to do anything.

They were scared. I could see it now. They did not want to get involved with anyone.

Martha had to be someone who was built differently to have the guards who faced off against werewolves scared of her.

“Let’s go,” she growled at me as we walked out of the coven and into the roads again where we walked to the valley.

The walk down was slow and tiring. We didn’t say anything but walked with so much on our tongues.

“I know you have a lot to say,” she sighed. “You can go ahead and say it. I’m listening.”

“I’m only pissed.”

“I am too.”

“Was I really seen as someone who would turn into her mother? I did listen to you but we ended up coming here and I was being pushed out without anyone caring that I was different.
