“Your mate has lost her mind!” Daphne said as she charged into the kitchen through the swing doors, almost knocking into the walls behind them.

“I think so too.”

“Then do something!”

Daphne turned to me, and I sighed, running a hand down my face. I didn’t know what to do. I had never seen Ana like this. She was always much more reserved.

“I think it’s her episode,” I told Daphne. “I think it did something to her.”

“Then take her to a doctor! Like I told you!”

Daphne had placed a hand on the kitchen island and was resting against it. I sighed and leaned my back against it too, as I crossed my arms.

“She is making us all super uncomfortable!”

“And have you seen the way she looks at Shane? I mean, I don’t think she has blinked once,” Daphne said.

“Then do something!” she said. “I can’t sit in that room again if it continues. You can cut the tension with a knife. And poor Shane! I mean, does she not like him or something?”
