Chapter 83: Going Inside

I followed with some of the way to Ana’s house. But she had lived far away from me and her uncle and aunt. No wonder it took some time for them to really hear what had happened or grow worried enough to go look. It took most of the day before I felt the calling of my mate. I could feel her worried and scared feelings growing stronger as I moved closer to her.

“How far are we from the house?” I asked and looked at her uncle.

“15 minutes away now,” he said, and I saw him looking so grim.

He didn’t like he had to go back there either. I didn’t believe anyone was happy about it.

“Then stop here. I can’t go any further. I’m scared he will know.”

Her uncle pulled over, and I got out of the car. We were a good handful of a mix between lycans and werewolves. I had called some of my own warriors, bringing them with should they be needed.
