As I made my way downstairs, I spotted Freya's room. I walked towards it and my heart clenched hard in pain. How could I forget I had something else important to focus on, than taking a mate.

I walked in, sitting on her bed as I remembered the last time we'd talked in her room. The time she told me our parents were the reason stopping her from taking a mate. I didn't know where to start looking. But I had to start somewhere. 

A part of me couldn't help but warn me my mate could be deadly. She could be a trap. Finding my mate in the same place I was being locked up couldn't be a coincidence. 

Even though I couldn't help the feeling of going back into that room and taking her in my arms, I had to put my wild emotions under control. I wasn't a teen Wolf. I was an adult, and here I was behaving like a teen with hormones running wild at the sight of a woman. I had to regain control. I was an alpha.
