Dane's POV

I've never been so confused in my entire life.

In a single day I've received not less than hundred calls and a million messages from the people I owe.

The pack members have been patient enough with the numerous excuses, my current saving grace is my status as Alpha which is at risk of being lost if debts remain unpaid.

A loud sigh escapes my mouth as I run my fingers through hair in frustration. There are options available, yet they are selfish and could potentially ruin the pack in the long run.

If I decide to sell any property in my pack, it'd affect them and I'd be blamed for every mishap after then.

My phone buzzed causing my heart to somersault in my chest for the millionth time. I knew who was calling but I couldn't describe how I felt when someone tried to reach me, I felt so insulted and embarrassed.

My old number had been changed in an attempt to escape, yet my phone was still inundated with a million missed calls and text messages, heightening my apprehension.
