Chapter Sixty One

ELIAS’ POV

It had been two weeks since I set my eyes on Scarlet, and ever since the time she shouted, adding to the misunderstanding, I had not laid my eyes on her, neither had I been able to visit her to settle whatever misunderstandings.

I tried to distract myself from thinking about her often because they were far better things taking up my time and attention.

Preparing for the war needed my full attention, time, and wits. There was no way I could be running after Scarlet, trying to make things up with her.

“When the enemy attacks you, you need to fight back with all might, regardless of the position holds. Even if you come across the Alpha of their pack, and you feel you or more people can hold him down.” I said to the trainees under me.

“Really? Are we allowed to do that?” One of the eager ones spoke out.
