Chapter Sixty Two

Elias went back to the palace, feeling a bit annoyed at how it seemed as if Beatrice wasn’t taking his pain and frustration of not knowing what’s going on with Scarlet, seriously.

He walked into his room, and laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, and blinking at intervals. At the end of this week, the war could likely break out, but the Royal Crest Pack didn’t announce a date for it.

And that’s why Elias ensured that he trained those trainees as much as he could, to prepare them for the worst which could come from the Royal Crest Pack.

A knock came on the door, and he sat up, and glanced at the door.

“Come in.” He urged, and discovered it was his mother.

“Mother, what brings you to my room?” He asked as she walked up to him, and sat on his bed.

“Well, I just came to check in on you since you’ve been so busy, trying to train our men, and all other things too.”

“Oh. Well, I’m glad they are catching up, and I think they are ready to be out in the war.”
