CHAPTER NINETEEN

They drove for a very short time, it couldn’t have been longer than ten minutes and the car was parked in front of a huge building that seemed to be made of glass only. While Riley got out of the car, Lucas offered her his hand. She was surprised and didn’t take it initially, Lucas just seemed to be making her break the first rule Dolph gave to her over and over again.

“What? Take my hand.” He said after their eyes met for a while and she left him hanging.

“I’m alright, King Lucas, I can handle myself.” She replied politely.

“I see.” He shrugged and thrust his hands into his pocket. “Let us go then.”

Regretfully, she stepped down from the beautiful car with his briefcase and trailed after him at a safe distance.
