Antonio is still locked up, Carlo's reason being that he cannot be released until Cynthia is pregnant.

Cynthia has suffered a lot of physical damage and Dr Marco says that it will take at least three months to recover before she can conceive again, which means that Antonio will be kept here for at least three months.

Cynthia begged Carlo if she could release him first, as she wasn't going to escape anyway and there was no point in keeping him locked up.

Carlo touched her cheek and gently refused Cynthia's request.

Cynthia bit her lip and looked away from his face.
