Georgina West

As Archer emerged from the shower, his bare torso glistening with droplets of water, I squared my shoulders and met his gaze head-on, determined not to falter. "I'm not sharing a room with you," I stated firmly, trying to ignore the tug of attraction that simmered beneath the surface. I kept my eyes locked with his, refusing to let them wander.

Despite everything that had happened, I knew it wouldn't take much for me to seek comfort in his arms and then things would escalate.

Archer's expression softened, fatigue evident in his features as he ran a hand through his damp hair. "Georgina, please," he pleaded, his vulnerability catching me off guard. "I'm not in the best state of mind right now. I could really use your support. Please, just for tonight. I'm already battling with everyone else. It would be nice if I didn’t have to fight you too."

I inwardly groaned, torn between my frustration and sympathy for Archer's obvious distress. With a heavy sigh, I relented. "Fine,"
