Alessia Romero
__—-------
I was woken by the soprano voice of a woman singing. The accent and the song were both in Spanish. The persona was a singer, that was a fact.
I could feel my body aching for unknown reasons. I tried to move my hands but I was tied up. Same for my legs which felt weak and were trembling.
I gently opened my eyes to familiarize myself with the situation. My eyes rested on a cream ceiling above me. They felt heavy and puffy. I could see but the vision was not clear.
I blinked again to adjust my sight. It was getting better within seconds, but the pain in my back head was nothing to joke with. I lifted my head to peek at what was happening. I was welcomed by a dancing woman who was busy moonwalking in front of me.
She hadn't noticed I was awake because she was so drawn into her dance and singing,
Rodion Konstantin-------informazioneInsanity had taken over all my senses. I could barely feel any part of my flesh. I couldn't even think straight or approach situations with sanity. I needed only one thing; information about where my two people were. The sight of a woman lying in front of me scratched the wounds in my heart. I never had any mission in my life that involved killing women, but that changed. Anyone whose routes led or seemed to lead me to a slight clue that they had a connection with the disappearance of Alessia or Matteo, was to get the bitter dose they deserved. The lady whose name was of no importance was seen earlier at Leonid's party. She was one of many waitresses and waiters I had sent to hell for having had touched what didn't belong to them. From the clip
Rodion_____"Start talking!" I pushed Dmitri inside my office and then banged the door shut. The idiot was not allowed in Italy, let alone in Sicily and my territory. The nerve of him and his fighting techniques, I must admit I was surprised by how he managed to take down eleven of my men."Damn, I respect you now, how the fuck did you succeed in taking me on the grou-"I cocked my gun and then aimed it at him. He held his hands up in surrender."Okay...okay. Calm down." He collapsed on one of my office seats. "You were not picking up my calls!" He uttered."Why the fuck are you here!" I seethed. What was hard for him, he was supposed to stay out of the picture. He was not gonna add more burden to what I had. I had no time to protect him while I was running out of time in finding Alessia and Matteo.
Alessia Romero-----"Wake her up!" A voice, that I acknowledged as Romeo's, thundered in the entire room making my sore body tense. Every part of me was freezing from being naked for hours on the hospital bed. They had stripped me so I was only wearing my briefs. My hands and legs had deadened due to the state I was clamped up on the bed. Pain circulated in every part of my flesh. Fresh bruises that covered my skin had turned dark. The putrid stench of blood, medicine, and every other nauseating smell made me sick, I wanted to die.My lazy eyes observed as Romeo approached me. He looked infuriated. Fire was fuming on his visage. He was gonna hurt me again, just like he used to do. He got to me and gripped my hair causing my head to pound so sicklily. He pulled me up and the state left my backbone aching with immense pain."Who is he?!" He forced a picture
Alessia_______I snapped up as I gasped for air and my hands crept on my neck. I could feel the pain around my neck but the belt which Romeo was choking me with, was gone. Sound breaths overlapped in the place exiting my mouth."Die, whore, just fucking die!"An anger-ridden voice chimed in my brain. I could feel his body on me, hurting me like I was his punching bag.My hands traveled off the neck and touched my body, I was no longer naked. I was wearing an oversize black sweater that covered most of my body. I was free, but the smell of blood and medicine was an indication that I was in the hospital.I fearfully looked around with the help of a flickering bulb. A cigar smell caught me. I squinted my eyes at the room, the darkness was not allowing m
Alessia Romero______Having summer vacations had many advantages, and wearing summer clothes has been one of my favorites. I loved free dresses, not like I had a specific reason, but the love came naturally. Such vacations also allowed us to meet with old friends. Those whom we separated after high school. Many restaurants in the city were whale-packed. Most customers were students.I strolled between the occupied tables with a shopping bag in my hand. Billie Elish's song—Bad Guy, played on my wireless earphones, bringing some lively mood in me. I loved Billie Elish's songs for many reasons, one being that they helped me sleep. That was a story for another day.I sighted my bestie, Carina, seated at one table close to the enormous city-view window. She grinned on seeing me and then fixed her silver-rimmed eyeglasses. She lifted her hand and waved at me. I was always late for our dates.Carina Victor, the town diva who was a writer. She was a model, 5'7 feet tall, slender with a curv
Alessia Romero _______They were at it again.Mum’s shrill voice echoed through the walls, reaching every corner of the house. Dad’s voice was almost inaudible, but you could tell he was involved from the sound of broken vessels.I closed my eyes, and a chuckle emerged. It was becoming comical at this stage. My parents would fight and throw things at each other. And then Mum would make dinner as if nothing happened. The worst was that they expected me to eat with them and pretend everything was normal.A sigh fled through my nose. As they were busy building up their habit, I developed a new habit; to sneak out of the house. I packed a few clothes for the days I would stay at Carina’s place. The moment you appreciate having a friend whose parents treated you like their own. If only I could disappear from this life for a while. Maybe my parents would realize my absence and remember I existed. My parents were the talk of the estate. The house that neighbors would point fingers at. The
Alessia Romero ____ Marco turned twenty-five. On the evening of his birthday, the two of us were at his house. Marco suggested a simple setting in his house's backyard. It warmed my heart to see that he wanted to enjoy his birthday with me alone. My dedication to making the relationship work was apparent, given my ability to throw an incredible party. So, I agreed to his proposal of a simple dinner together. He owned a luxurious beach house, one of a kind in the area. Marco was a rich kid, raised by wealthy parents and now running a business. He took over as the president of one of his father's businesses. I would lie if I said I knew what kind of business his father owned. I had been careful not to appear snoopy, so I never asked. The backyard looked gladden in the eyes, complementing the golden dress he sent me. The radiant lights and the candles on the table gave me a certain warmth that made me relax. I admired the commitment he exerted to make the dinner memorable, given
Alessia Romero ______ A brisk breeze grazed my shoulder, and a shiver ran down my spine. I sluggishly fumbled in search of something to cover myself from the chill, and fortunately, I found one. My body felt relaxed, except for the window of the room that was certainly open, allowing the breeze to sneak in. A soft groan left my throat and ran my hand through my hair. I inhaled the delightful scent on the bedding, enough to bring a smile to my lips. Stretching my hands with a yawn, the breeze grew strong, wafting in the room and carrying with it the scent of the ocean. I grew reluctant to wake up; the bed felt so comfortable that it compelled me to continue sleeping. But my stomach rumbled. I was starving. Most of the time, I rarely woke up hungry. I got used to waking up in the middle of the night to grab some snacks, like cupcakes. Did I skip a meal? Attempting to remember what I had for dinner, visions began gushing in my brain. The untouched delicious meal from the roman
