“Xan! How could you?? You knew that I wanted a small wedding!” Grace shouted
“Trust me, she wanted it ALOT bigger, so she has respected your wishes....in part!” Xan started to explain.
“ My wishes? It's supposed to be OUR days, not hers!” Grace said angrily.
“Look, Love, I know. It is just she doesn’t really have any female friends and she was so excited when I broke the news! Her wedding was organised by the Chinese Syndicate, so she didn’t have much say. She also was trying to take a load off you. Please Grace, just let her help a little bit!” Xan pleaded.
Grace sighed. Xan did not ask for anything and I suppose the extra help could not hurt! By the looks of it, she had to have her ankle pinned and wired, so mobility was going to be an issue.
“Fine, but I have a feeling I going to regret this!” Grace grumped.
“Thank you so much! There is also one last thing, I have to leave the day after tomorrow!” Xan said.
