Chapter thirty two

Vanessa’s pov.

I couldn’t believe they did this to me, I have never been this hurt or betrayed. At least my parents, I expected it from them because they never treated me like a daughter, these people were just so kind that I didn’t even see it coming.

Moral lesson don’t let someone fake good fool you, at least Dominic was truthful and stood by his world at least even if I belonged to him he would never sell me.

But I can’t say much, I learnt not to trust people either.

I stared at the blank space lost in thought,that I did not realise a pair of eyes were looking at me until he tapped my lap.

I turned to face.

“Come down, we're using the helicopter to go back home” he said softly.

Why was he acting nice?

I was mesmerised when I saw the sight of the helicopter. This was my first time seeing one and I became scared. I was scared of heights. What if Dominic pushed me down from the helicopter in order to punish me for escaping.

Oh hell no way am I climbing that thing.
