I bite my bottom lip for the thousandth time, shaking my head on the accord. Angelo seemed calm as he munches on his food. He had the audacity to sit calmly after what he put me through last night. Marco was the only one present with us. The urge to bring up the topic grew inside me, and I did.

"Don't you think you have something to say to me?" I asked, dropping my fork.

"Who..." Marco trailed off, earning a glare from me in return. "I'm talking to your boss, not you."

"I have nothing to say to you," Angelo spoke up, his eyes meeting mine. Suddenly, I lost the words in my mouth. His eyes reminded me of last night. How they burned holes in my head. How I almost indulged myself in the pool of his eyes. I couldn't take him to his room because of his heavy body. Instead, I dragged him up to my bed and allowed him to take most of the bed space.

When I woke up in the morning, he wasn't in bed. And now, with him seated calmly, he's telling me he has nothing to tell me.
