Chapter 118

Mia’s pov

A smile was already dancing across my lips before I crossed my eyes open, and it only widened when all that happened the previous night slowly crashed down on me. I rolled to my side, nose sinking into the second pillow beside my head and I breathed in Lorenzo’s scent which was now clinging to the pillows. Unlike when we had just arrived whereby the entire place was completely devoid of our scents, now was the complete opposite and i reveled in it.

Lorenzo was already out of bed, which isn’t surprising because he has always been an early bird since I could remember and I wasn’t sure I’ve ever woken up to him still sleeping beside me since the moment we began to sleep together in the same bed, aside that first night whereby he had come to my room after supposedly having a nightmare, and till date, we’ve never talked about that night, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t think about it every now and then.
