Mia’s pov

“What if we try it out?” I asked as I brushed my hair out of my face. We were currently standing in the kitchen, right in front of the fridge. Lorenzo who was downing a glass of cold water, arched a brow at me before responding.

“Try whay out? A scene?”

I bit on my bottom lip and slowly nodded my head in response. Lorenzo let out a low hum as he walked off to rinse the glass cup once he had completely downed the water.

“So, you’ve been thinking about it.” Lorenzo stated and color filled up my cheeks.

“On second thoughts, we probably shouldn’t—” As I spoke, I whirled around on my toes, ready to exist the kitchen, but Lorenzo’s grip on my wrist prevented me from moving an inch.

He let out a low chuckle as he pulled me into his chest and leaned his head against my shoulder. I could feel tiny vibrations in his chest as he laughed.
