“What do you think you’re doing?” Lily’s sickening high voice wasn’t scratchy as she demanded angrily, while regarding me with so much hatred in her eyes.

If her intent of killing me with her sharp gaze ends up being possible, I’d end up beneath the ground in an instant.

When I had excused myself from the table, I already had a feeling she was going to come after me like the spoilt daddy’s girl that she is.
