Mia’s pov

A startled gasp tore past my lips as I blinked at the throw pillows on the couch in shock while my brain reeled from what had just happened right now.

Lorenzo had… spanked me.

He actually spanked me.

At once, I began to struggle but Lorenzo’s grip was firm, forcing me to hiss out a breath in annoyance and disbelief.

Why is he doing this? Since when did this become normal?

Lorenzo only snickered as I tugged my arms backwards and before I could get more than a startled sound, a warm material was being wrapped around my wrist, and a glance at it showed that it was Lorenzo’s tie which had been hanging loosely around his neck moments ago.

“Just what are you doing?” I demanded while trying to get out of his hold, but his grip didn’t loosen for a second, causing me to huff out an irritated sound.

“What does it seem like I’m doing?” Came his response, low and mocking as the sound of him clicking his tongue against his teeth fill up the room.
