"Any news yet?" Connor asked as soon as he stepped into the parking lot.

He knew he had missed Annah by a hair's breadth and he completely blamed himself for it. If he had been more observant, he would have known when she slipped out of the bar. Now, he had to face the reality that he might never see her again.

"No sir," one of his men said.

Connor groaned out in frustration, hitting the tyre of the SUV she had used. As soon as he got to the club, he had ordered the men to shut it down and ask everyone to stay where they were but yet, he didn't find her. His men had been very swift and thorough as they searched each person but yet, she was nowhere to be found. He couldn't imagine her escaping when his men were the best at what they did.

"Goddamn it!" he barked.
