"Here child, make sure you finish everything." Martha smiled, placing the tray of food on the dining table.

It was now nightfall, a time to eat and Annah who had refused to comb her hair stared lazily. Russo had assured Martha and Connor that it was just the after effect of the tranquilizer and that it was nothing serious but still, Connor had become increasingly worried because he thought that it wouldn't pass. He had never seen Annah look this funny before and deep down, he really hoped that this episode she was going through passed on time.

"Thank you Martha," Annah smiled.

She took a spoonful of the soup and immediately, her taste buds began dancing. She wolfed down her food hungrily while the other continued to watch, a small smile on Connor's face.

"Slow down babe," Connor chuckled, placing a hand on her's.

"Have you tasted yours? It's freaking delicious." Annah laughed.

"Yes, that's Martha's specialty and I can guarantee that in no time, you will be perfectly alright
