Clubbing IV

STORM

After a frustrated Justin had left us stranded in the club, I and Lucy had started with making small talks, and sipping our not so alcoholic drink, laughing at intervals at lame jokes, until a man and his friend had approached us, talking the normal bullshit which vile men would say whenever they saw a lady in a short gown, especially red.

Well, that was what I was hearing. A red short bodycon gown that exemplified my curves. I wanted to get loose tonight, but having stayed here for almost twenty minutes, I was beginning to think that we had chosen the wrong bar. But then, Lucy and I weren’t really club material. The first and the last time we had clubbed had been on the night of our graduation from high school.

The talking guy, seeing that none of his talks were getting to either I or Lucy, proposed a better drink to what we were taking. According to him, we were taking just water, a stupid humour that I wouldn't even call humour, because what I had been drinking was nowhere
