I slammed the now busted up bat in the face of the last guy standing between me and Hugo.
"Wow, worked up quite the work out here. So... You were saying?" I looked back at Hugo
It was obvious that he was shaken but I believe he didn't want me to see his weak side.
"S-so you really are that Adira." Hugo started.
"Look, I'll tell you the truth. It's all my Dad's doing, when he found out we were together he was furious and I had to break up with you, it was so hard on me then, he said you weren't strong enough to handle his empire..." He started rambling.
"And and... When he heard that Wong Shin adopted you as his daughter he snapped, he already had an old grudge against the old man and set up an assassination team to wipe you all out..." Memories of the fire flooded my mind and my blood began to boil afresh.
