chapter 72

Nate's POV

Since I left Isabella in the kitchen after I kissed her, I have longed to be with her.

I almost forfeited going to work that very day, right at that moment.

I had her all through my mind, and thoughts of her kept on crossing my mind.

It took me my strongest willpower and urge from my driver for me to eventually succumb to going to work.

Work seemed very slow, I was moody all through as my mind wasn't at work, my mind was to be with Isabella wherever she was.

However, there was little or nothing I could do about it because I needed to attend to the pressing issues at work.

Jane had come into my office severally to either bring me coffee or to tell me of a new meeting schedule or to bring a new document that needed to be signed or to even ask me about food.

She was against me just sitting and working.

She told me to take breaks in between work so I don't drain myself easily.

If only she knew I was already drained and I needed to charge up really bad and really quick.
