Chapter 71: Blue Eyes

"You gonna bring Xaire?" asked her father.

She nodded her head. "Yes, I promised her."

Leonardo had this worried expression on his face, but he immediately composed himself and shook his head. "Fine, be careful. I'm gonna send our men to watch you—"

"Dad."

"—from afar. I promise they won't disturb you two."

"Fine." She rolled her eyes. "I don't want your men to ruin me and my child's day."

Leonardo laughed as he kissed his daughter's forehead. "Don't worry, sweetheart." He pulled away and took out his phone as he received a text. "By the way, are you bringing your boyfriend along?"

"Yep," she replied with a pop. "Jason has no class today and we plan to spend this day with Xaire."

"Good. Where is he, then?"

"He's on his way—" Speaking of which, the doorbell rang. She shrugged as a smile spread across her lips. "Well, I suppose he's here to fetch us up already."

"Uncle Jason!!" Xaire exclaimed from the stairs. Her nanny panicked when the child suddenly burst running wearing her pink tut
