Chapter 29.

I don’t know for how long I had been sitting on the damp grass. My body was freezing, my fingers were stale and I could barely feel my feet. But I refused to move.

I almost forgot them, I nearly forgot the anniversary of their death and for that, I could never forgive myself. I would sit here until I felt satisfied and until I know that they have felt my presence.

I was letting the tears run down, freezing as they fell leaving patches on my skin along the way.

When suddenly I heard a car roll up, I looked towards the gates and saw how a black SUV turned its lights off and someone stepped out.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised about others being here so late at night.
