Chapter 73

Hazel’s POV

Picking up my phone, I sniffed and dried up my tears as I called Alesha. I needed my best friend and I also need to tell her about how the chance that I’d decided to give Damian backfired on me.

She picked up on the fourth ring and it sounded as though she was busy with something, “Hey girl, can I call you back?” She said but I didn’t say a word and hung up.

My phone rang almost immediately I ended the call and I looked to see Alesha’s name boldly written on it. She knew when things weren't going right with me.

“Hazel? Are you okay?” She asked and that was the question that made me burst into uncontrollable tears.
