39. Blinded
...Haley POV...
I couldn't believe my eyes when the elevator doors opened. Everything had been changed. There wasn't anything that reminded me of the original design for this floor. The entire floor had been remodelled to present a more modern and welcoming front. The entire look was warm and inviting. I had braced myself for what I was about to see, but nothing could've prepared me for this.
To my surprise, I hadn't even noticed that I'd dropped Damian's hand and clasped my mouth. I was just so stunned.
"So, what do you think?" Zane asked, making my mind return to reality.
"It's amazing. But why did you do this? I just thought it would be cleaned. I didn't expect you to completely remodel everything." I responded.
"What can I say. The place was due for an update."
"Sure.. but.. just wow.." I replied, stunned.
"With Zach's help, we used some of your designs to create everything you see here."

...Haley POV...After Damian left, I decided to do as he suggested and tour the city. Damian had even arranged for a car service for me, so that way I wouldn't get lost.
