...Damian POV...
I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. Mostly because if what Zane was saying was true, then that made far worse than any monster in this world. She was assaulted, and instead of helping her, I only made her hurt worse. Look at how I reacted after seeing her with someone else. They weren't even intimate. Just kissing.
I did far worse than I had believed she had done to me. When I met Bianca or Breanna, or whatever the hell her name was on the plane, a plan had come to mind. I knew Haley would come searching for me, so I wanted to make her hurt the way she had done to me. I was a monster.
Now that I began to see reason, details of the event started to stand out in my mind. I had her yelling at him, calling him a b*stard and yelling at him to get away from her. ...Haley POV...By the time Damian finished making love to me, we were both left breathless in a heap in the office. By now the Library had been closed for a few hours now.
