The Morning Star left the harbor and was now in the open ocean. Gavin focused on Travis's ship. He studied it. There was something off. He narrowed his eyes as they continued towards it.
"Captain?" Jason asked.
"Travis is waiting for us." Gavin said a hint of surprise in his voice.
"Waiting." Jason mimics Gavin's tones.
"For as long as I've known him he has never been a straightforward person." Gavin muttered to himself.
"Aye. He's very manipulative. Gavin keep your guard up. I doubt this will be just and exchange." Jason frowned.

Morgan stood in front of the kitchen sink staring out the window. She watched the waves crash on the cliffs below. Gavin had built a house for them overlooking the sea.
