Chapter 55. Looking For Protection

Bryan reversed his car when he saw one of the Levantines approaching. They shouldn't catch him because he would pick up Eva, or everything would be exposed. Slowly, the car moved away because it had attracted their attention. Bryan needs to learn what the Levantine Pack is doing to the residents. Nevertheless, he had to consider Eva's safety the most important thing.

Meanwhile, Emilia was dealing with Jasper, who came to her house early in the morning looking for Eva. Emilia didn't want to let the man take the chance at all. Emilia was so confident that Jasper was the person who had been chasing Eva all this time, or worse, he was the person who impregnated Eva.

"What do you mean by talking like that?" Jasper raised his tone. He never thought that Emilia could accuse him that way.

"I'm not accusing you. I knew you were distrustful since you paid for Eva's hospital bills. What exactly are you planning, Jasper?" Emilia blurted out with her arms folded in front of her chest. Jasper scoff
