Chapter 56. Trigger His Wrath

Eva was punished for serving breakfast for her and her boss, Gabriel. Instead of smacking her butt, Gabriel showed his mercy by asking to prepare breakfast in the private room. Moreover, Eva had not had anything since early morning, as she came to the office early.

"Now you can tell me everything as you promised." Gabriel talked first after a few bites of his bacon and bread. Eva smiled slightly and then nodded.

"Nothing happened. We only had dinner and went home," replied Eva calmly. She felt less stress now facing Gabriel compared to a few days before. After the re-signed incident, Gabriel promised not to treat Eva harshly. Eva believed that her boss had now kept his promise to respect her.
