Chapter 50

CHLOE

I wanted to call Carmen and ask about how she's doing but I was at work. I can't do that or else I will be getting reprimanded by my boss.

And my boss.....

"Chloe! What nonsense are you doing?!" Someone shouted out my name in my work place. The loud yell brought me back from my reverie.

I immediately stood up. "Yes sir!" There was only one person who would call me like this here. My immediate boss and the Manager of the department that I worked in.

The Manager, Mr. Green stood in front of his office as he yelled out to me whose table was just a few feet away.

"What are you seriously doing Chloe? Where is your head? You've been making several mistakes lately! What are you trying to do?" Mr. Green yelled.

"Is there a problem with the plan I submitted sir?" I resisted the urge to smack the man across the face and asked as politely as I could.

"You're asking me if there's a problem? Forget it, come into my office" the man said. He turned and walked back into his office.
