CHLOE

I walked aimlessly around. Now that I had calmed down and was no longer angry, the fact that I didn't have a job finally dawned on me. I was confused. What will I do now?

I have had this job since I left college and I had worked my way to where I was slowly. Now because I refused to give sexual favours, I lost my job.

I looked around the streets people were coming and going, but they all had a clear goal in their minds. They had destinations. I was the only one who doesn't even have anywhere to go now.

I really missed Carmen right then. If Carmen was around, I'd call her and the both of us will drink our sorrows away. Then tommorow, we will think of what to do. But Carmen isn't in town and I was all alone.....

I just hoped that Carmen is fine whenever she is and that she is having fun right now. I do hope that she's not having a huge pity party like me.

Although her marriage is not real, at least she gets to go to the Maldives. She just hoped that Carmen will enjoy her
