I was standing with The Alpha and Luna of the Italian pack, as well as their Beta, and my mate when I saw someone walk in who was not dressed for a ball. There was something not quite right about this man. I kept my attention on him as I spoke with the others. Suddenly I saw his hand come out of his pocket with a little device, I knew exactly what it was, as I pulled Kari behind me to protect her and shouted. "BOMB!" just as the man pressed the button and I felt myself lifted from the ground and thrown with force from the explosion. I lay there, my ears ringing. before groaning as I sat up. I looked around me to find Kari lying on her front not moving. I panicked and ignored the pain as I went to her. I shook her shoulders but got no response.
