Chapter Forty Six - The Supernatural Council

Kari's POV

We made our way downstairs to the dining hall to find my Grandfather talking to a man with long white hair and pointy ears. He wore a silver crown which looked like it was sewn into her hair. He was tall and thin, and the long silver and white robes he wore made him look paler than he already was.

'Hela?' I asked.

'He's the Fairy King.' She told me. 'He is good. We can trust him.'

My Grandfather spotted us and motioned for us to join them. He had planned last night, that the council visit was to be held here, so various members would be turning up throughout the day. He felt it was safer for me and the pups if we met here. They were all here in peace, meaning their powers were weakened whilst in pack grounds so that they couldn't cause any trouble. Grant put his hand on my lower back and guided me gently over to where the two men stood.

"My darling." The King said as he kissed my cheek in greeting.

"Good morning Grandfather," I said with a smile, opting to be more formal in
