Chapter Twenty Seven - Hela's First Battle

King Alexanders POV.

I was seated in my office discussing today's events with my council of elders. All had taken an instant liking to Kari, and she had done the same in return. Hela is happy with all of them. Hamish stood behind me, I still needed to work out what bothered Hela about him.

"I must admit, I am relieved she did that." Elder James snorted. "Didn't like the man, and who are we to go against the Moon Goddess?"

"We will need to be cautious about this, there will be a backlash, Elder Edward said.

"Let them come," I said. "She did what we all wanted to do. He had no right to demand that she show him her wolf."

"Have you seen her wolf?" Elder Emily asked. She was one of two women on the council of elders and she was a timid woman, but you didn't cross her.

"I have, and she is beautiful. She almost looks silver in the moonlight." I told her. "She has our crest in the correct spot as well."
