Chapter Twenty Six - Shock

Grant's POV

I watched as my mate broke the neck of an Alpha twice the size of her. To say I was shocked was an understatement. Although, I was also a little proud. The other Alphas and Betas in the room stared on in shock as they watched the Alpha's limp body fall to the floor. Suddenly, her eyes went back to blue before rolling back in her head and I jumped forward and caught her limp body in my arms.

"Take her out of here." The King said to me. "I will have a doctor sent up to check on her."

I lifted her into my arms properly and left the room. Gamma Carl followed us along with two warriors. I could hear the King shouting at the other Alpha's in the room but didn't register what was being said. As I walked through the Packhouse, I passed Reuben and Claire, who both stood in shock when they saw me walking with my mate in my arms.
