I glared at Carissa, wondering what her problem was this time around. Was it a bad thing for him to join us for breakfast?

" He is in this house, why can't he join us? " I retorted and Davis cleared his throat, standing up from his chair.

" Ethan, come with me. Let grandpa feed you today, " he offered, taking Ethan from Carissa and their food from the table before going upstairs.

" What do you think you're doing? " Carissa asked me.

" That's exactly what I should be asking you, mom, what exactly are you doing? I understand that you don't like him, nor do you want to accept him into this family. But, are you going to let him starve? He is in your house, " I queried and she folded her arms, raising her brows as she gave me a knowing look.

" Why should I care if he starves or not? No one invited him here in the first place, " she pointed out.<
