After I've told Jess everything that's happened and who I think is behind it all, I sit back while she thinks things through, and I wait for her to say I'm overthinking everything or that I've lost my mind. Rains' P.O.V. After my mother explained how I used my magic unknowingly, for the first time, She also lets me know that we will be starting my training on the next full moon, which is tomorrow. The doctor checks me out again, and after giving me the all-clear, we decide to head back to the castle. On our walk back, Zion tells me that my mom will be moving into my old room across the hall from our suite. He also tells me that they will be moving my mothers' coven into the Kingdom till they can rebuild and heal from the attacks. Losing Lady Lana has had a new impact on the coven. "Orian and Sam will fill us in on everything they've learned from the warriors in the morning. And Lady Ezmerelda will also be getting pictures and a status report from the coven in the morning." Zion says as we make it to the castle. "Thank you," I say, looking up at him. "I know you don't have to keep me in the loop since I'm not the Queen yet. But I appreciate it.

I turn the water off as Zion steps out of the shower. I turn to step out, and Zion hands me a fluffy black towel and walks into our bedroom. I dried myself off, wrapping the towel around me, brushed my hair, and pulled it up loosely into a messy bun with my hair tie. After taking one last look in the mirror, I walk into our bedroom. As I walk past the bed to my closet, I notice a large black shirt that I assume is Zions' and a pair of my panties on the corner of our bed. Zions' P.O.V. After grabbing our breakfast, I walk into our bedroom and notice our bed is empty. So I walk to the bathroom and stand in the doorway, leaning on the doorframe, and watch as my beautiful mate admires her new mark in the mirror. "You're officially marked and mated," I say while standing there as she blushes. "Was last night okay for you?" She asks. I walk over to her, lifting her up, and placing her on the bathroom counter. After Orian said that he thought they were all extinct and they had all disappeared after the Dark War almost 200 years ago, Lady Ezmerelda nods her head and sat for a few seconds, contemplating how to say what she was thinking. "That is what the Fairy King wants everyone to believe. After the Dark War, the King saw them as an embarrassment to his kingdom. It was believed that they were the ones that started it all. They were cast out of the kingdom and went into hiding. I'm guessing Douglas found them and added them to his collection of species for his army." She says. "That would make sense. After we're both back at the suite, we decide to sit on the couch in the living room and talk about the ceremonies. Apparently, the mating ceremony was basically like a human wedding. We say vows to each other, and instead of exchanging rings, we mark each other, but we've already done that, so we'll be exchanging rings in their place and then reveal our marks to everyone. And then the run of the wolfs, led by Zion and Myself, which I'm nervous about. What if something happens and I can't shift? The crowning ceremony will be like all the others. And they informed me that they would get the invitations sent out before the end of the day and have them hand-delivered. Rain, Lady Ezmerelda, and Jessica decide to start Rains' magic training while we wait for the arrival of the coven.
