Chapter 88

Bella’s POV

I tilted my head to the other side as I struggled to keep my eyes open. I opened them and I almost shut them back. I panicked instantly as I stood up from where I was. I wasn’t at Marcus’s mansion. Rather I was in the woods under a tree in broad day light. I didn’t even know how I got there.

I remembered vividly that I slept on the chair I was chained to, but now I had miraculously appeared in the woods. Well not miraculously because the sun shone brightly and as a vampire, I dared not step an inch. I sat under the tree. Whoever did that surely did it to punish me, but at least staying in a tree was better than being chained to a chair.

It felt like forever but the day later got darker and it was fit for me to leave. I was already exhausted from sitting for long and basically rotating round the tree due to the rotation of the sun.
