“Poor Harry,” Meguitte said as she and Connery watched as her vampire sibling and their mate crossed to their vehicle. It was one of the requisitioned NES vehicles, she noted. A sensible choice as it reduced the risk of them being stopped by the Van Helsings as they entered Trayrock.

“Poor Jules,” Connery amended. “Imagine waking up with only a fraction of your memories. You can see it in his eyes that he feels utterly displaced. Harry has become the one solid, reliable thing in the world for him. It must be terrifying to have lost so much of yourself.”

“I would not like it,” Meguitte agreed, distracted by watching as Harry and their mate got into their 4WD. Harry waved through the window as they pulled out and drove away. “I am worried about them going to Trayrock,” she admitted to herself.
