Catherine paused. “Well, yes,” she admitted quietly.

“It’s about my boyfriend,” she added before she took a deep breath and continued.

“I found out that he likes it,” she whispered, glancing sideways towards Julian for a second before she continued speaking.

“And that he has probably been cheating on me for several months now. So, I want you to help me figure out what to do.”

Julian sighed loudly. He pushed himself away from the wall and turned to face Catherine.

“Why are you telling me this now?” he asked in confusion, crossing his arms over his chest, his eyebrows furrowing slightly.

“I thought that you were mad at me for not helping you last month.”

“You helped me,” Catherine reminded him.

“You saved me from being kicked out of my castle because of an argument between my roommates. You brought me food when I had no money and gave me free rides home when you know that I am allergic to cats."
