I've been waiting for!

Sergio wakes up to the soft buzzing of his phone. He groans quietly as he reaches for it, unlocking it and glancing at the screen to find out who's calling.

"Hello?" He answers cautiously.

"Sergio?" A feminine voice responds.

"Yes, hello?" He responds, trying to mask the confusion in his voice.

"It's Serena." She says timidly.

"Right...hi…" Sergio says apprehensively. He can hear her breathing heavily on the other line and feels a pang of guilt in his chest. He's been avoiding talking to her since they had lunch together on Friday and he knows she's probably wondering why he hasn't contacted her since.

"Listen, about last week… I didn't mean to yell at you, okay? I'm sorry." He apologizes earnestly.
