Parked twenty feet away from Christopher's car, three individuals were seemingly spying from inside a Jaguar.
Cole, Joan, and Monica saw how Christopher Hale came out of the lift with Anna Pierce. They all witnessed how Christopher aided Anna in his car and drove away.
From a distance, it was clear to them how Christopher and Anna were in a disagreement, seeing the frowns on thier faces. It would appear the ambushed interview with Anna, sparked an argument between the two.
Earlier, right after learning that Anna went straight to the Hale Industries, Joan told Cole about her father warning her about the Hales.
While finding Anna and Christopher together may just be circumstantial, but it could also mean more. It further added to their speculation.
Joan and Cole first dropped off Monica at her home before they practically went around the city, driving in circles. As a couple, they were deciding as to how to proceed.
