I was startled to hear him. I couldn't come up with the idea of someone loving me. My mouth was opening and closing like a fish out of water. No words were coming out of my mouth. I felt a jerk on my shoulder. I didn't notice when he got up and stood near me.

“ Anaira, are you alright? Please don't mind my words. You don't need to answer it. Please say something .” I was standing like a dumb person hearing him blabber. After a few minutes, I was able to regain my composure.

“Were you speaking the truth? I mean I am a simple, not so beautiful orphan girl.” My voice was a little raspy.

“ Please calm down and drink this. I don't want your answer immediately and haven't you heard the saying "beauty holds in the eyes of the beholder.” He forwarded a glass of water. I gulped in a hurry.

“ Princess slow, you will choke yourself.” He rubbed my back gently. I shivered at his touch through the thin material of the dress.
