Chapter 28- The Check-in
At the Sunlight Towers Hotel, a young couple walked in, one ahead of the other and made their way into the lobby. The woman wore a stylish party dress that kept all the man ogling at her as she dazzled through. Even the receptionist stood up to take a good look at that amazing woman.
Feelings everyone's gaze upon her, Dohana flustered and held back to walk right next to Jake.
"Please book a separate room for yourself," she whispered to Jake.
What? Jake was surprised. His mouth curled up as a sinister plan came up.
"Well, mother made the bookings. What would she say if she found out that we're staying in different rooms, huh?"
Dohana's gorgeous face grimaced. Jake caught wind of it and smiled.

"Alright guys, let's go wait for them downstairs." Jake led the way. An hour later, the group arrived at an upmarket club hosted at the top of a luxurious flat. Only the most influential, rich and famous people attended such an extraordinary club. The club was already packed when Jake and his friends arrived. A waitress greeted them and led them to a VIP table. The women were quick to sit next to their partners while Dohana chose to sit next to Miley London. On their way to the club, they had gotten pretty close. The waitress then took their order and left. "Dohana sweetheart, don't be silly. Go sit next to your man," Miley said seriously. There was awkwardness at that moment. The others began to wonder if Jake and Dohana had been fighting already.
