Chapter 31- The Embarrassment

Jake had managed to turn around and head back to his seat. He smiled nonchalantly as he sat down. He didn't even mind the eyes staring at him in disbelief.

"I thought I recognised her, turns out she's not the person I thought she was," Jake said and gulped down on his wine. 

Everyone seemed to be suppressing a laugh, while Miley and Dohana were still upset.

The beautiful woman Jake had approached had turned to watch him leave. She stood up at this moment and came over to their VIP table. Her sharp eyes glanced around the ladies in quick succession. 

When her eyes landed on Dohana, she said, "gorgeous, what's a princess like you doing with a scum like him?"
